Daily Essentials: Litter

1) Cat Paper
Works well for occasional misses. 100% recycled tissue with non-toxic polyethylene backing (kind of like dental bibs) so it's leak-free. Available in rolls and pre-cut pads. We get it in rolls so we can cut to sizes that fit the space, and tape onto the walls.

2) Kitty's WonderBox
We love this biodegradable, disposable litter box. Made of 100% recycled paper, durable and leak-proof. According to the manufacturer, it's designed to filter air and keeps litter drier and odor free. Sanitary and super easy to clean up. It's supposed to last about a month, but we sometimes keep it a little longer since it remains to be in a good shape without any odor.

3) World's Best Cat Litter
All-natural cat litter made from whole kernel corn. It clumps and is easy to scoop. (It's supposed to be flushable too, though we don't.) We only have one cat, but we get the Extra Strength anyway, which has a plant derived, natural scent that keeps the litter fresh longer (only a dollar or two more than the Original type).

With these litter box and litter, we've never had any odor problems. (We scoop 2-3 times a day.)

4) Van Ness Litter Scoop
Easy to hold and scoop. (If the holes were just slightly smaller it'd be even better.)

5) Mini Dustpan & Brush
Perfect size for cleaning spilled litter around the box. (I think I got this set for $2 or so from Target.)
